Join us for a Summer of Family Fun! Embark on a wild adventure with our six-week animal extravaganza!
Get ready to unleash your inner animal this summer with our six-week wildlife extravaganza! Until September 1st, we're turning up the wild and inviting you to join us on an unforgettable adventure.
Let loose and play wild in our adventure playgrounds! Kids will love our awesome sandpit, the challenge of the sky-high climbing ropes, and the thrill of the super-speedy swings. It's the perfect place to burn off energy while having a blast!
Meet the coolest creatures on Earth! Each week, we're diving deep into a different animal group. Get ready to meet sneaky but playful mustelids, awe-inspiring hoofstock, wise and wonderful owls, cunning predators, buzzing invertebrates, and the incredible native species that call our neck of the woods home.
Join the fun! We've got workshops and talks that will make you go "wow," animal encounters that will melt your heart, and nature crafts that will unleash your creativity.
Mark your calendars for these wild weeks:
🦦 Mustelids (July 22nd - 28th): Otters, ferrets, badgers, polecats, and pine martens galore!
🦉 Owls (July 29th - August 4th): Wise eyes and silent wings!
🦌 Hoofstock (August 5th - 11th): Deer, bison, mouflon sheep, and wild boar!
🐺 Predators (August 12th - 18th): Wolves, lynx, wildcats, and otters on the prowl!
🐝 Invertebrates (August 19th - 25th): Bugs and bees buzzing with excitement!
🦊 Native species (August 26th - September 1st): Foxes, owls, badgers, deer, and plants!
Extra adventures! Some of our activities have a small additional cost: £4 per workshop and £2.50 for crafts.
Monday – Friday:
10:00 – 11:00 – Public engagement (touch table with antlers & horns) outside the glasshouse (or inside if its raining)
11:00 – 15:00 – Crafts in the cabin (£2.50 – mask making, badge making and learn about the animal theme of the week!)
Saturday & Sunday:
11:00 – 15:00 – Crafts in the cabin (£2.50 – mask making, badge making and learn about the animal theme of the week!)

Go Wild!
Our fantastic adventure playground for over 6's is the ideal place for exploration and fun with so much to do, such as;
- The incredible spiders web; Everyone can enjoy the challenge of climbing the ropes to cross the spiders web bridge, how high will you climb?
- Swinging in the basket swings or with siblings and friends on the long multi person rope swing!
- Getting dizzy going round and round on the rope merry go round!
- Climbing the high ropes into the bird nests!
- Practice your balancing skills climbing the log jumble and rope nets!
Mini Go Wild!
Mini Go wild; For the tiny tots - away from the older boys and girls – there’s Mini Go Wild!
Younger visitors up to six years old can enjoy...
- The sensory sand pit; Sand is a great way to get textures into the hands of children. Our sand pit has buckets and spades to encourage sensory skills, fine motor skills, hand eye coordination and creativity!
- The digger; Children will love digging and moving the sand with our digger, all while improving their hand eye co-ordination!
- Testing their balance on the stepping stone rope bridge!
- Climbing and exploring THREE different climbing areas using a variety of ropes, ladders, tyres and more!
- Swinging in the basket swing or with siblings and friends on the long multi person rope swing!
