A Whole Lot of Otter Week

Celebrate 'A Whole Lot of Otter Week' at New Forest Wildlife Park – May Half Term 2026

This May half term, New Forest Wildlife Park is going otter-crazy! In celebration of World Otter Day, join us from Saturday 23rd – Sunday 31st May for a week packed with otter-themed activities, talks, and experiences, perfect for families with children of all ages.

We are proud to be the only place in the UK where visitors can see four species of otter. Plus we currently have the largest collection of endangered giant otters in Europe and smooth-coated otters in the UK!

Whether you're looking for family days out in the New Forest, half term activities in Hampshire, or simply a love wildlife, our otters are ready to put on a show.
