The New Forest Wildlife Park is an unmissable attraction in Hampshire nestled in the beautiful New Forest. Easily accessible from Southampton, a short distance from the M27 motorway and from two train stations and a main bus route.
Driving

We are situated off the A35 between Southampton and Lyndhurst.
From the motorway system leave the M27 at Junction 3 onto M271 to Southampton and the Docks. Turn right at the end of the short M271 onto the A35 in the direction of Lyndhurst. Follow A35 for about 1.5 miles and look for brown tourist to New Forest Wildlife Park signs directing left into Deerleap Lane.
From Lyndhurst follow A35 towards Southampton. After Ashurst village turn right into Deerleap Lane following brown tourist signs to New Forest Wildlife Park. Continue past Dairy Farm to New Forest Wildlife Park on the left.
Bluestar 6
The Bluestar 6 bus runs between Southampton and Lymington stopping at Ashurst - hourly Monday to Saturday and 2 hourly on Sunday. www.bluestarbus.co.uk
Bus - walk from Ashurst
Take Number 6 to the next stop on the A35, get off at the small supermarket and stay on this road. Walk until you come to brown signs directing you right into Deerleap Lane. Deerleap Lane is a country lane without pavements.
New Forest tour bus
The New Forest Tour Bus to the New Forest Wildlife Park is running from 29th June - 15th September.
The open top’s Red Route runs a circular, hourly, seven days a week route to the Wildlife Park. You can catch it from Ashurst, Lyndhurst, Burley, Ringwood or Fordingbridge or link up via the blue or green routes from Brockenhurst, Lymington, Hythe and New Milton. Now you can visit New Forest Wildlife Park without a car. During the summer months the New Forest Tour open-top bus (Red Route) will take you right to our door. You can enjoy grandstand views of the New Forest along the way, hopping on and off at various villages and attractions when you wish.
Running from Saturday 29th of June to Sunday 15th of September 2024 - the New Forest Tour Bus also gives you discounts on entry prices.

Train
Totton rail station is approx 55 minute walk to New Forest Wildlife Park. There is a taxi rank at station.
Ashurst rail station( approx 2 miles) trains from London and Poole arrive at 40 mins past the hour in both directions.On arrival at Ashurst there's choice of easy ways to reach us. www.nationalrail.co.uk Taxi - for an easy life from Ashurst a taxi costs approx £7-£9. Bus and train travel - walk from Ashurst
Exit the train station cross A35 to the number 6 the bus stop. Take number 6 to the next stop on the A35 and get off at the small supermarket and stay on this road. Walk until you come to brown signs directing you right into Deerleap Lane. Deerleap Lane is a country lane without pavements.
There is free parking in a large car park on site. Please note, on busy days this will be on a first come basis.
