Are dogs permitted at the New Forest Wildlife Park?
Please note that will welcome both registered assistance and service dogs to the park , however some areas with free roaming animals are restricted.
In order to make your visit enjoyable with us please ensure you have the following:
Proof of training or registration with approved body for the service your dog provides.
Please make sure you dog wears a clear hi-vis jacket or body harness to show our other guests that your dog is at work, and not a pet.
Please have your dog on a short lead, or harness- not an extendable lead.
Please make sure you have up to date and complete worming and vaccination cards available to view on admission- this is for the bio-security and welfare of our animals.
Please ensure you speak to one of our trained staff to make sure you and your dogs’ visit with us is pleasant and stress free- please remember we have both predator and prey species within the park as well as free roaming animals.
We are very sorry but we are unable to allow ESA's or other pet animals onto our site.
For the welfare of free roaming wallabies and deer, dogs are not allowed to walk through Wallaby Wood or the Deer Encounter.
