Summer at New Forest Wildlife Park

22nd Jul 2025

Summer is here, so why not discover the magic of New Forest Wildlife Park! Nestled in the heart of ancient woodland, our park offers the perfect blend of wildlife, family fun, and natural beauty.

If you’re looking for things to do in the New Forest during the school summer holidays we’ve compiled all the reasons you need to add New Forest Wildlife Park to your visit list!

The great paw print pursuit!

From 22nd July - 2nd September, embark on an exciting quiz trail where your mission is to uncover the mystery word! As you explore each animal enclosure, keep an eye out for the hidden paw prints scattered throughout the park. Each discovery brings you one step closer to collecting all the letters that will reveal the final word.

Complete the trail and claim your prize. At just £2 per quiz sheet, it's an affordable way to add an extra layer of adventure to your day out.

Keeper Talks

We have daily keeper talks to share some animal facts and figures, and you may see the animals enjoying some food! So make sure you check out the chalk board detailing the talks on the day you arrive.

Our keepers love to chat to visitors, so if you have a question or an observation about any of our animals, don't hesitate to strike up a conversation, they're always eager to share their knowledge and hear from others.

#ShareSavvySaturday

On the 2nd August we will be talking #ShareSavvy!
The #ShareSavvy initiative started at our sister park, Battersea Park Children's Zoo, to address how irresponsible social media use can harm threatened species conservation. Our goal is to educate people about social media's impact on animal welfare and the illegal wildlife trade, while promoting positive, responsible ways to engage with wildlife content online.
Come to our stand on 2nd August and talk to us about our mission!
