New Forest Wildlife Park Launches Exclusive Photography Experience Days
11th Mar 2026
Amateur photographers and wildlife enthusiasts are being invited to step behind the scenes at the New Forest Wildlife Park this spring, as the park launches a series of exclusive, keeper-led photography days designed to capture some of Europe’s native species.
Moving beyond the standard visitor experience, the Photography Experience Days offer a rare "lens-first" journey through the park’s ancient woodland.
Led by an expert keeper, these sessions offer rare, up-close access to the park’s most iconic native species. Every stop is carefully timed to prioritise natural light and authentic animal behaviour, providing a guided photography tour that goes far beyond a standard day at the park.
Participants will have the opportunity to photograph species that are notoriously difficult to spot in the wild.
“Our Photography Experience Days are a wonderful opportunity for amateur photographers and wildlife lovers to connect with our animals in a meaningful way. With small group sizes and expert keeper guidance, participants can capture truly special moments with some of Europe’s most beautiful native species.” said Shanna Dymond, Keeper Experience Manager.
The 2026 season offers only four exclusive dates, running monthly from March through June. To maintain the tranquil environment necessary for high-quality wildlife photography, each session is strictly limited to just eight participants. This small-group setting, paired with expert keeper guidance, ensures photographers can connect with some of Europe’s most beautiful native species and capture truly special moments in a meaningful way.
Photography Experience Days dates: 20th March, 24th April, 22nd May, 19th June 2026.
