New Forest Wildlife Park invites visitors to 'Wolver-ween' Halloween Half Term Event

New Forest Wildlife Park is set to welcome families this October half term with Wolver-ween, running from 25th October to 2nd November 2025. With an exclusive animal encounter and educational experience that celebrate one of nature's most elusive predators, the wolverine.

The highlight of Wolver-ween is the park's exclusive pop-up Wolverine Keeper Experience, offering visitors an extraordinary behind-the-scenes encounter with Bodie, the park's resident wolverine. This exclusive 20-30 minute experience, priced at £90 for two participants (including admission), gives wildlife enthusiasts the opportunity to work alongside expert keepers.

Limited to just two participants per session, the experience is available at an exclusive nine times select times throughout the week, meaning advance booking is essential.

Throughout the October half-term week, the park will offer a programme of daily activities from 10:00am to 4:30pm, including:

• Extra Daily Keeper Talks: Expert keepers will share fascinating facts about the park's animal residents, with some talks including feeding sessions. Visitors can check the daily schedule when they arrive.

• Wolverine Trick or True Trail: Follow clues around the park to learn fascinating wolverine facts, deciding whether each statement is trick (false) or truth (true). Each quiz sheet costs £3 and participants who complete the trail receive a small prize and entry into a prize draw to win a family admission ticket.

• Halloween Competition: All visitors during half-term week can enter a competition to win a fantastic Bronze Keeper Experience for two by scanning a QR code upon entry.

Wolver-ween is suitable for all ages and offers something for everyone, from hands-on experiences to educational trails and daily keeper talks. Some activities incur additional charges, and the exclusive Wolverine Experience must be booked in advance.

Visitors to the wildlife park will also be able to see the 3 new endangered giant otter cubs as they play with their siblings, in their family enclosure.
