Experience Winter Fun at New Forest Wildlife Park this December

This December, New Forest Wildlife Park will be entertaining visitors with a range of winter activities for all ages - all aimed at creating memorable family experiences and embracing the festive season.

Winter Deer Feeding Encounter

New for 2024 is a unique opportunity to get closer than ever to the majestic deer at New Forest Wildlife Park. Winter Deer Feeding Encounters are available on selected dates throughout December, where visitors can hand-feed the gentle deer in their ancient woodland home.

This intimate encounter is perfect for individuals, families (ages 5+), and friends seeking an enchanting experience. Learn about their unique personalities and behaviours whilst guided by knowledgeable keepers.

Morning and afternoon sessions take place on 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd December at £15pp (plus admission). Spaces are limited and must be pre-booked. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with the gentle deer.

Festive Fun for Little Ones

Christmas Toddler Tuesdays offer a delightful morning of festive cheer for the park’s youngest visitors. On Tuesday 10th and 17th December toddlers can enjoy story time, free crafts, and a Christmas photo opportunity in the night watch barn. Toddler Tuesdays take place between 11.30am -12.30pm and no pre-booking is required. 

A Golden Opportunity to win

Throughout December a giant golden bauble will be hidden daily within the park. Eagle-eyed visitors who spot the bauble could be in with the chance of winning a free return visit!

Beyond these festive activities and experiences, New Forest Wildlife Park offers a wonderful day out for all the family. Explore the animal habitats, learn about conservation projects and efforts, and let the children burn off their Christmas excitement in the amazing adventure playgrounds!
