New Forest Wildlife Park Presents: Spooky Species

This Halloween, the scariest thing isn’t ghosts or goblins—it’s animals going extinct! Join us for a chilling adventure through time as we uncover the ghosts of species lost to extinction and the fight to save those on the brink!

Embark on a spine-tingling adventure at the New Forest Wildlife Park as we delve into the fascinating world of our "Spooky Species."

Half term activities include:

• Spooky species stops
  Each day we will have a new spooky species stop around the park where you will find one of our education team. At these stops you can find incredible facts about these species, learn about conservation efforts to help the species and get hands on with enrichment or animal artefacts!
  Timings & cost vary

• Animal Artefact Touch Tables: Embark on a hands-on exploration of the animal kingdom at our interactive touch tables. Our knowledgeable education team will guide you through an interesting collection of animal artefacts, sharing facts and stories that will ignite your curiosity. (Included with your admission ticket!)
  When: Daily, 10:00am-12:30pm

• Pumpkin Design Competition: Unleash your inner artist and compete in our pumpkin design competition! Let your imagination run wild as you create the most spooktacular pumpkin. Our  keepers will select three lucky winners whose designs will be brought to life and presented to some of our animal residents.
  When: Saturday 26th - Monday 28th October, all day
  Cost: £1 per sheet
  
  
• Photo stop
  Our Nightwatch Barn holds a secret photo booth just waiting to be discovered! Snap a photo and why not share the fun on social media?
  When: Daily from 10:00am - 4:30pm
  Cost: Free
  
  
• Creepy crafts!
  Unleash your inner artist and conjure up some creepy creations! Craft a chilling creature mask that'll send shivers down spines. Bring the forest to life by transforming a humble pine cone into a whimsical woodland critter.
  When: Daily, 1:00pm - 3:30pm
  Cost: £2.50
